Influence of absorber layer gradual gap profile on Cu2ZnSn(S1-Y SeY )4 solar cell efficiency: Numerical study

چکیده

The gradual substitution of sulfur atoms (S) by selenium (Se) in Cu2ZnSn(S1-y Sey )4 compounds causes a linear increase the optical band-gap. For this reason, those are suitable to implement band-gap engineering compositionally graded solar cells. In paper, we have worked take advantage feature enhance performances basic uniform Kesterite and Stannite CZTS1–ySey influence Tow grading profile was investigated: fully (a) double (b). Fully Cell showed better parameters than Double cells it appeared that front had disruptive effect on cell parameters. contrary back ameliorates significantly all As result, efficiency kesterite stannite enhanced from 9.05 5.22% 16.65 15.77 % respectively.
